The FUE beard transplant is done in the same manner as the FUE hair transplant, i.e. it is transplanted from the back of the scalp in the area of the beard or the mustache that we want to thicken or shape. Usually, the procedure concerns the thickening of the beard<\/strong>, rather than shaping the beard or the mustache with a full lack of hair. Often we decide on the execution of a first smaller test procedure to see how the result will fit into the existing facial hair.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most commonly there is a congenital absence of hair in the beard or mustache, but the lack is also possible due to illness, surgery, burns, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the first phase of the FUE beard transplant from the donor region in the back of the scalp we take smaller follicular units or individual hair follicles. Subsequently, they are microscopically processed under a magnification of 15 times for every individual follicle so that from it after the transplantation we get the growth of individual hairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The follicles are implanted in the chin with fine implanters with which we can determine the desired depth, angle and direction of implantation of hair follicles, and thus the future growth of individual hairs. The surgical procedure is performed under local anesthesia, the very same as at the dentist. Immediately after the procedure the patient receives specific instructions and is free to go Often the procedure is repeated after one year to achieve a density as close to natural<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The beginning of the growth of transplanted hair is 3-4 months after the procedure<\/strong>. Most grows six months after the procedure, and the full result is visible after 10 months. The result of the FUE beard or mustache transplant is permanent<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
