Beard and mustache transplantation by FUE method

The FUE beard transplant is done in the same manner as the FUE hair transplant, i.e. it is transplanted from the back of the scalp in the area of the beard or the mustache that we want to thicken or shape. Usually, the procedure concerns the thickening of the beard, rather than shaping the beard or the mustache with a full lack of hair. The follicles are implanted in the chin with fine implanters with which we can determine the desired depth, angle and direction of implantation of hair follicles, and thus the future growth of individual hairs. The surgical procedure is performed under local anesthesia, the very same as at the dentist. The beginning of the growth of transplanted hair is 3-4 months after the procedure. Most grows six months after the procedure, and the full result is visible after 10 months. The result of the FUE beard or mustache transplant is permanent.
